My name is David O and I am an experienced home carer with a passion for helping others lead independent lives. With over 10 years of experience, I have worked with clients of various care needs, including those with Mild Cognitive Impairment, bedbound individuals, Parkinson's Disease patients, as well as individuals with anxiety and depression. I offer a range of care types including live-in, hourly, and overnight care.
Although I do not have a car, I am capable of driving and can organize alternative transportation when needed. My skills as a carer include assisting with bathing, toileting, dressing, catheter care, and providing companionship to clients. I believe that a friendly and helpful attitude is essential in this field, and I always strive to create a warm and supportive environment for my clients.
In my free time, I enjoy walking, solving puzzles, fishing, photography, and engaging in DIY projects. I have a fondness for pets and am comfortable working in homes with spiders, fish, rabbits, and lizards. My motivation for being a carer stems from my desire to make a positive impact on people's lives and help them maintain their independence and dignity.
